Our stitch'n'bitch nights are a cheap way of learning and sharing great skills to help you through the tough times!

Thelma writes…If I find a pair of pants that I like at my local op shop and they're maybe a bit short, I like to cut them about two inches above the hem. I then cut them just above the knee area. I take the bottom piece and stitch it to the knee area matching the seams. To jazz them up, I sew buttons, ribbons, etc., on the outside seams. Now what used to be a pair of too short pants are now a great pair of capris! Join one of our “stitch and bitch” groups, knit, sew, repair and remodel clothes, in our Fitzroy warehouse (and they’re popping up all over the country) … or come to one of our scheduled workshops. You’ll do it yourself confidently and save a bundle while you meet new people.
